Formotion AI ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Jase, trading as Formotion AI, based in Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through formotionai.com and our backend services, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

Account information: your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

Payment information: we do not store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive only a subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.

Content you provide: creative briefs, brand profile details, color palettes, typography preferences, and any brand identity information you enter to generate a project.

Generated content: the AI-generated brand specs, layouts, storyboards, designer handoff packs, and rendered static and motion assets produced from your briefs.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, and standard request logs, collected for security and abuse prevention.

To generate your motion graphics packages via our AI pipeline, which sends your brief to Anthropic's Claude API for processing.

To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.

To send transactional email, such as signup verification and password resets, via our email provider.

To maintain and secure the service, including error monitoring and rate limiting.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your briefs or generated content to train AI models.

Account and project data is stored in our Postgres database. Rendered assets are stored in S3-compatible object storage. Our backend is hosted on Render.

Anthropic (Claude API) generates your brand spec, storyboard, and prompts from your brief, and receives your brief text and brand profile inputs.

Stripe handles payment processing and billing, and receives your billing details and email.

Resend delivers transactional email and receives your email address.

Our storage provider stores your generated images and video files.

Render hosts our backend application and receives standard request and server logs.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to export your project data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

We use a single httpOnly refresh-token cookie to keep you signed in securely. This cookie cannot be read by JavaScript, which protects it from common attacks. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

Formotion AI is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date below, and for material changes we will notify you by email.
